1.0 BUGANDO MEDICAL CENTER
Bugando Medical Center is a referral, consultant, and university teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It is a referral tertiary specialist care for eight regions and serves a catchment’s population of over 14 million people.
1.1 SPECIALIST MEDICAL DOCTOR II 1POST 2.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attending in and out patients.
Attending emergency medical duties.
Carrying out specialized investigations of admitted patients.
Ensuring that prescribed instructions are carried out.
Conducting specialized operations of his specialized field of study.
Conducting on the job training to the junior staff
Carrying out service and participating in major ward rounds.
Supervising medical students and interns in clinical duties.
Participating fully in morning clinical sessions, patient presentation and journal clubs.
Participating in research activities.
Conducting outreach programs
